ANTIGUA GUATEMALA - GROUP INVESTMENT - LE MERCADO - LEADERS - HEALTHY LIVING

Hey BLOG REALESTATEANTIGUA,

If you wish to be removed from our newsletters, please click here

Today will be a very quick email… the sun is going away and August will end as one of the most beautiful weathered months in memory. It was glorious. So topics today will be investments and some mention of blogs… the bad weather is coming and it is time for us to get back to work. Having said that, GROUP INVESTMENTS! You and a few friends throw your money in a pot and buy a piece of land and build a nest egg of an investment. Read more about it in our latest blog, "Antigua Guatemala – Group Investing Properties around Antigua." It talks about the outer region of Antigua for those of you less familiar with the outside regions, and it talks about how to make a small investment bigger.

Speaking of blogs, how would you like to enjoy a very quick and delicious treat? Next time you are at Le Mercado, pick up some Apples, Limes, and Salt. That's it.

Actually, that is a great topic! Le Mercado!!! When was the last time you spent your day working the isles and negotiating prices? "Le Mercado Antigua, Guatemala – Healthy Affordable Shopping," It's easy to shop at Pricesmart and Walmart but we forget about the little guy. Step it up and ONLY buy organic is even better but failing that, get back to our basics and start making soups and salads instead of buying your meals ready made. The article has an interesting section on some of the best hot dogs available in town… yes they are bad for you but awesome when you want to be wicked.

We would like for you to offer us your tips on how and what to use to recycle within your home. For instance, in "Share your Home Tips for recycling products and thoughts," we discuss using a small bottle of Jaguar as a saltshaker. Use it once, don't throw it away. In fact, there are many other great ideas we have been sharing on our Facebook page "Antigua, Guatemala Composting Group," where we give you ideas and suggestions for cold remedies, growing a simple but extremely adequate herb garden for your home, and other ideas as well. Our reach is growing and have targeted 146,000 viewers over the past 6 months so we welcome you to join us and be connected to learn more about the great things we been sharing.

Lastly, we leave you with "Antigua Guatemala – The Good, the naughty, the ugly." In this piece we talk about some people who make Antigua, Guatemala a better place to live. We pull out of the obscure John Rexer, owner of Café No Se and the founder of Ilegal Mezcal and another of Antigua's essential patriarchs, Jean-Louis Trombetta Wilson, part owner of Monoloco amongst other fine establishments. Read why we talk about them, why Antigua is a better town because of them, and what is it about resort towns such as Antigua have the privilege of introducing us to the good, as well as the ugly.

WE are always looking for help in our articles and welcome you to subscribe to our blogs, LIKE them, share them, and especially comment on our blogs. Next month we hope to be back to business and not outside enjoying the weather and the sunny sunny days we have been fortunate to have. Speaking of sunny days, we leave you with this link to enjoy a song and to kick back and think of the beach. Our next email we hope to highlight beach living and investments. Until then, feel the groove… CLICK HERE FOR SUNNY DAYS
